Nathan Thomas Keasey

May 4, 1985 — November 2, 2023

Nathan Thomas Keasey, 38, of Johnstown OH passed away in the loving arms of his wife on Thursday, November 2, 2023 after an incredibly courageous battle with stomach cancer.
Nate was born on May 4, 1985 to Pam and Pat Keasey in Johnstown, OH. His kind, loving and goofy personality developed at a very early age and lead him to meeting his best friends that to this day are still like brothers to him. He always loved sports and spent his high school career playing football for Johnstown – getting the nickname "Golden Toe" for his impressive kicking abilities. His favorite athlete of all time was Michael Jordan and the number 23 continued to play an important factor throughout his life with the most recent being the day his son was born.
Nate met his wife in 2015 through mutual friends and the two became instantly inseparable. Throughout their 8 years together, they filled their life with so much love and life. They created so many memories – memories that will truly last a lifetime. They loved to be adventurous together – always trying new things, traveling to new places with emphasis on experiences vs things. They were blessed with two amazing, beautiful children that are the light of their lives and bring so much joy to every day.
Nate was the most loyal, caring, generous, strong, funny, loving and thoughtful person with a heart of gold. He was always finding ways to make people smile and found tremendous joy in being able to brighten someone else's day. He loved traveling, playing golf any chance he could get, scuba diving, spending time with friends and family, trying new things, watching Browns and Ohio State football and experiencing all life had to offer. He was the best husband, father, brother, son and friend and anyone who knew him was better for it. He lit up any room he walked into and always brought a smile to someone's face – he was and is truly one of a kind, someone you felt lucky to know and to love.
Nate and his legacy will always live on within his two beautiful children and the amazing stories his friends and family will continue to tell. He was and continues to be an inspiration to those around him by facing his battle with cancer head on and always keeping a positive mindset during his fight. His strength and outlook on life is admirable and will continue to inspire others to live life.
As Nate would always say, Life is for the living, so go out and live it and Make Today A Great Day.
Our hearts and lives will never be the same – until we meet again.
