Nella B Wren
December 26, 1947 — March 6, 2012
Nella B Wren, 64, left her physical body and returned to her spiritual being on Mar. 6, 2012.
She leaves behind to mourn her passing her beloved life partner, Sue Dye and best friend John Garrett. She is also survived by brother, Tom (Suzanne) Wren and special nephew Jack Wren; brother, "Sam" (Nancy) Wren; nephew, Mike (She) Wren and nieces Lori and Mindy Wren. She also leaves behind her beloved 4 legged companions Pumpkin, Phoenix and Molly.
She was preceded in death by parents G. Louis and Miriam Faith Wren; sister, Marsha Wren and special aunt and uncle, Donna and Dick Dixon. She is also survived by special friends, Linda Kinkaid and Sharon Thomas.
Nella graduated Bellefontaine High School in 1965. She received her Master's Degree in Social Work in 1988 and became a Licensed Independent Social Worker. She epitomized the true purpose and meaning of Social Work. She lived and taught compassion and love. She saved the lives and changed the lives of many people that others never even noticed.
She will always be remembered for her love of all animals, especially cats. She loved rainbows, oceans, blue skies and Reese's Cups.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Thursday, March 15, 2012, 2:30 PM at Newcomer Funeral Home, NE Chapel, 3047 East Dublin Granville Road, Columbus, OH with Visitation 1:00 PM – 2:30 PM. Donations if desired can be made in Nella's name to, Pets Without Parents, 629 Oakland Park Avenue, Columbus, OH 43214.
