Nellie Viola Hinzman, 90, of Columbus passed away on Wednesday, October 24, 2012 in her home surrounded by her loving family. Born August 30, 1922 in Columbus to the late Henry L. and Nellie May Rees.
She was employed by White Castle Systems for over 32 years of service. Her life and love was her dedication to her grandchildren and family.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Harold whom she married in 1957 in Richmond, Indiana; a son, Jerry in 1964; two brothers, Ed and Dana.
Nellie Vi is survived by her daughter, Marsha Graham, Doris Ramsey; grandchildren, Daryl (Debbie) Diller Jr., Melissa D. Arias; great grandchildren, Christopher Ramsey, Stephanie Tracht, Jessica Diller, Larry VanVorhis Jr., Roxanne VanVorhis; great great grandchildren, Isabell Tracht, Hope Broyles, Bryson Tracht; numerous nieces and nephews including Donna Starner; many friends and her faithful companions, Torch, Crystal and Tazzy.
Friends may call from 5-8 PM Tuesday, October 30, 2012 at Newcomer Funeral Home NE Chapel, 3047 E. Dublin-Granville Rd. Columbus, where funeral services will be held 10AM Wednesday.
