Nicholas Albert Ward

Born at Mt. Carmel hospital in Columbus, Ohio on 3/21/1987. At the age of 35, Nick left this world after a very brief illness, in the care of Riverside Hospital at 5:30 Thursday, February 16, 2023. At his side when he passed away were Joyce Ward, James Ward, Amy Jenkins, Christen Dean, Tonia Ward and Rusty Moore.

Public visitation Friday, March 3, 2023 from 12pm until the time of Funeral Service at 1pm at Newcomer, SW Chapel, 3393 Broadway, Grove City, OH. Interment immediately following at Concord Cemetery, 6244 Hoover Rd., Grove City, OH. Details regarding the wake will be provided during the Service.

Of Nick, we share that he dearly loved his children Angelina and Nicholas and was very proud to be their dad. He enjoyed and looked forward to events that brought family and friends together. Nick would not hesitate to help someone in need and whenever he was in need, others would not hesitate to help him. He had a loving soul, kind heart and playful personality which made him the type of person that people enjoyed having around. He cherished every one of his cats, he was a cat person. Nick enjoyed going to concerts, shows and events as well as activities which required traveling.

Nick is now with his grandmother, Sharon Ward and aunt, Laura Speelman as they left us prior to Nick.

He is survived by his two children; daughter, Angelina Ward and son, Nicholas Ward. He also leaves behind his parents; James and Joyce Ward, sisters; Amy Jenkins, Christen Dean and Tonia Ward. Surviving grandparents; Jack Ward, Paul and Shirley Carter and many other aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. All of whom, will miss him immeasurably.

The light of the world has been diminished by the loss of this one, unique candle. Although his passing is painful to our hearts, he would tell us not to think of him as gone but rather, think of him as just being somewhere else right now.
