Nicoletta G. Donato, 95, passed away on October 28, 2023. Born of an Italian immigrant family on November 3, 1927 in Scranton, PA and raised in Brooklyn, NY. She dedicated her life to her Mother, Husband, Children, Grandchild and her Church. Nicoletta was preceded in death by her Husband, Salvatore Donato, her Parents, Joseph and Antoinette (Mancuso) Guzzi.
Surviving family members are Daughter, Mary Gilabert (Michael) and Son, Paul Donato (Joan), Granddaughter, Brittney Schafer (Trey) and Great-Grandson, Bo. Surviving Grandsons, Russell Gilabert and Alex Donato. Niece, Phyllis Papasso (Joe).
Visitation will be held from 4:00 - 6:00 pm, Thursday, November 2, 2023 at Newcomer Funeral Home, NW Chapel, 10051 Brewster Lane, Powell, OH 43065.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10am, Friday, November 3, 2023 at St. Joan of Arc, 10700 Liberty Road, Powell, OH 43065, entombment to follow at Resurrection Cemetery. This would have been her 96th birthday - Happy Birthday to Nikki!
The family would like to thank the caring staff at the Sanctuary at Tuttle Crossing.
