Nilburn Stepp, Jr. Orient, OH, went to be with the Lord July 9, 2010, surrounded by his loving family. Born in Inez, KY, December 2, 1944 to Nilburn and Lois H. Stepp, Nilburn was the grandson of the late Rufus and Emma J. Horn and the late Reverend Aaron and Rebecca Stepp. He had been a resident of the Grove City/Orient area for more than 40 years. Nilburn was preceded in death by his father, Nilburn Stepp Sr. and brother-in-law, Michael Scott. Survivors include his wife of 48 years, Sharon L. Stepp; mother, Lois H. Stepp; son, Todd (Betsy) Stepp; daughter, Tammy Maple; grandchildren, Adam (Rachel), Holly, Jourdan (Brittany), Cassandra, Luke, and a great grandson due in October of 2010; sisters, Dinah (George) Meyer, Dottie (JC) Brazzell; brothers, Nelson Stepp, Garry Stepp, Glen (Florence) Stepp; numerous, nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews, cousins, aunts, uncles, and in-laws. Nilburn was the facility manager at Value City Furniture for more than 20 years and retired several years ago. Nilburn was presently attending Canaan Land Free Will Baptist Church in Grove City with his family. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, July 13, 2010, 5-8 PM at Newcomer Funeral Home, SW Chapel, 3393 Broadway, Grove City. The Funeral Service will be at 11:00 AM Wednesday, July 14, 2010, at Canaan Land Free Will Baptist Church, 2777 Gantz Road, Grove City, OH 43123. Interment will follow at Concord Cemetery.
