Noeun had a fighting and hustling spirit to take care of her loved ones. She had a generous soul, and when anyone needed her help. She does everything in a self-less act.
She used to say, "Help and borrow are two different meanings."When you help, don't expect nothing in return."
Everyone who knew her as the Grandma who worked at the local Khmer Markets for over 30 years. She was known for all her Cambodian desserts and snacks. The neighbors called her Yeay Nom Akor (Grandma steam rice cakes).
Grandma was known for giving us multiple forhead kisses, and when we received them from her, we felt very honored and blessed.
