Nolan Clay Jones, Sr., 64 years old of Galloway, OH passed away October 9, 2013. Born January 4, 1949 in Jamestown, TN. Nolan retired from Honda America, Marysville, OH in 2009.
Preceded in death by parents, Raymond and Margie Stephens Jones; brother, Rodney L. Jones; granddaughter, Bobbie Lee Jones; 3 brothers-in-law, Joe Freels, Ben Freels and Stanton Lewis, Jr.
He is survived by wife, Minnie Sue Jones; son, Nolan C. (Melanie) Jones, Jr.; daughter, Candi Lynn Duffy; 2 step-sons, John (Jackie) Johnson and Ron Johnson; grandchildren, Michael (Sarah) Duffy, Lynn Duffy, Darrell Johnson; special granddaughter, Chelsea Johnson; great-granddaughter, Angel Smock; 3 brothers, Randall (Terry) Jones, Sam (Melissa) Jones and Dennis (Tina) Jones; sister, Linda Lewis; and sister-in-law, Donna Jones; as well as a number of nieces, nephews, cousins and other family and friends.
Visitation Friday, October 11, 2013 from 1-3 and 6-8 pm at Newcomer Funeral Home, SW Chapel, 3393 Broadway, Grove City, OH.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to honor Nolan's granddaughter's memory to Cystic Fibrosis Foundation, 6931 Arlington Rd., 2nd Floor, Bethesda, Maryland 20814.
