Nora Kay Deskins Varga, 64 of Ashville Ohio passed away on January 1,2021 surrounded by her children and grandchildren after a debilitating battle with covid 19.
Nora was born at home on a cold beautiful day in April to Nathan and Dorothy Deskins in Kirk, West Virginia. She later moved with her Mother to Columbus Ohio where she settled down and had her two girls Kimberly and Leah. She was a devoted stay at home mother for many years. She then completed her requirements and attended Columbus State Community College where she earned her Associates degree in business management. Upon graduation, she began her work for the State of Ohio where she just recently retired from. Then, in the summer of 2000 she met and fell in love with John Varga and they married in May of 2003 and he remains the love of her life.
Nora was predeceased by her Father Nathan, her Mother Dorothy, her brother James Dillon, her sister Diana Dillon and her son John Varga Jr.
She is survived by her husband John, her children Kimberly (Rachelle) LeBlanc, Leah Barker (Lee Tracy), Frank (Heather) Varga, Cassie Varga, Andrew (Heather) Varga. Her grandchildren Jonathan Kilpatrick, Lynnsi Kay Hicks, Tori Kay Same, Kayleeana Varga, Johnny Varga, Landon Varga, AJ Varga, Daniel Varga, Wyatt Varga, Colby Varga, Paisley Varga Leiliana Kay Barker, Sara and Henry Varga, and great grandchild Dallas Dunlap. Brother Roger (Vicki) Deskins, sisters Joann Grace, Vickie (Aaron) Damron, Rosetta Deskins, Mickey (Greg) McCarty and many beloved nieces and nephews. Nora was loved and admired by all who knew her for her selfless nature and her love for her family and she will be greatly missed.

Visitation Friday, Jan. 8, 2021 from 11am to 1pm at Newcomer, SW Chapel, 3393 Broadway, Grove City, OH. Private Funeral Service to follow for family only due to current restrictions.
