Norma R. Carter: Born January 24, 1934, died November 18, 2009, peacefully at her residence. She is preceded in death by her parents, Floyd D. Porter and Mary Porter Shell; son, Floyd "Jimmy" Carter; four brothers and one sister. She is survived by grandson, Jimmy (Andrea) Carter II; great-grandchildren, Nathan and Zachary; daughter-in-law, Sue Carter; brothers, Robert (Sharon) Porter and Eddie (Jackie) Shell; as well as nieces, nephews, great-nieces and nephews and friends. Norma retired from Fisher Body/GM (UAW Local 969). Visitation Friday, November 20, 2009 from 4-8 PM at Newcomer Funeral Home, SW Chapel, 3393 Broadway, Grove City, OH. Funeral Service Saturday, November 21, 2009 at 11 AM; also at the funeral home. Interment to follow at Obetz Cemetery, Obetz OH.
