Norma Ratliff, 75, of Thurston, passed away Thursday, October 9, 2008 at Carriage Court Nursing Home. She was born March 23, 1933, in Mendon, Missouri, daughter of the late John and Lucille Carpenter Doughty. She is survived by her loving husband of 57 years, Earl Ratliff; sons, Gene Ratliff, Scott (Nancy) Knipe, Bill Knipe and Dave Ratliff; daughters, Leona (Andy) Doughty and Linda Feyh; brothers, Leo ( Dianne) Doughty and Darrell Doughty; sisters, Judy Doughty and Betty Doughty; several grandchildren and great grandchildren. In addition to her parents, Norma was preceded in death by a brother, Robert Doughty; sister, Evelyn Santuomo; sister-in-law, Frances Doughty. Visitation will be Sunday, October 12, 2008 from 2:00-4:00 and 6:00-8:00 PM at Newcomer Funeral Home S.W. Chapel, 3393 Broadway, Grove City. Funeral service will be Monday, October 13, 2008 at 1:00 PM at the funeral home. Interment will be in Floral Hills Memory Gardens. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Alzheimers Association, Central Ohio Main Office, 3380 Tremont Road Columbus, Ohio 43221.
