Mrs. Norma J. Thompson dedicated wife, mother, grandmother, and friend passed away in her sleep at home in Galloway, Ohio on Monday, October 24, 2022. She was 91 years, 11 months, and 21 days young.
She joins her loving husband Virgil W. Thompson of 51 years, along with her son, Michael Craft, her parents, Michael and Della Crotty, her brothers Richard (Jean) Crotty, James (Jane) Crotty, William (Gail) Crotty, and her best friend and sister Myrna (Roland) Beardsley. And oh my, what a wonderful time they are sure to be having!
Norma's greatest love was spending time with her family and her grandchildren were the light of her life. Her spirit lives on in her daughter, Cynthia (Tony) Dodaro, grandson, Devin Dodaro and granddaughter, Hana Dodaro. She will also be missed by her brother, Jerry (Judy) Crotty, her other daughters and son from another mother, Tonda, Crista, Della, Ted & Myra, along with copious number of nieces and nephews, grand nieces and nephews, great grand nieces and nephews and her two fur babies, Bosco and Katra (baby girl).
She considered herself fortunate to have so many caring friends and neighbors. She is best known for her generous heart, great cooking and always sharing. The one thing everyone enjoyed most is her peanut butter chocolate cake. She eventually shared her secret recipe to a chosen few (who were sworn to secrecy). Above all, she was great mother and a wonderful wife.
A special thank you to my daughter, Hana and sister, Crista Beardsley for their wonderful loving care of my mother. The memories you will share.
