Norman Dale Hicks, Sr., age 72 of Canal Winchester, passed into Eternal Life on February 19, 2008. Preceded in death by parents Emmett and Edith Hicks, brothers Richard and Kenneth Hicks and grandson Joey Hicks. He leaves behind to cherish his memory, wife Bernice, sons Norman Dale, Jr. (Donna), Edward Buns (Joe Davy), Greg Buns (Kala), Steve Klein (Brandy); daughters Carol Tye (Mickey), Debbie Bloom and Melissa Getz (George); grandchildren Norman Dale III, Joe, Misty, Louise, Kelsi, Peyton, Stevan and George; 8 great-grandchildren; sisters Mary Lou Hively and Peggy Crosier, many nieces, nephews and friends. Visitation will be held on Friday, February 22, 5-8 p.m. at the NEWCOMER FUNERAL HOME, Southwest Chapel, 3393 Broadway, Grove City, OH. Funeral service will be held on Saturday, February 23, 2008 at 10 a.m, Pastor Toby Cambron officiating. Interment will follow at Union Grove Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to The American Heart Association or Westphal Baptist Church of Whitehall.
