Norman Allen Hofmann

Norman Allen Hofmann, age 70 of Columbus, formerly of Oxford, OH, passed away on June 24, 2022. He was born on September 17, 1951 to the late Dr. H. Philip and Jean (Goss) Hofmann in Cincinnati, OH. Along with his parents he was preceded in death by brothers Douglas and Harold Hofmann. Norman is survived by his loving wife of 39 years Melody (Palm) Hofmann, brother Robert (Merry) Hofmann, sister Beth Hofmann.

He graduated from the College of Wooster in 1973 and received his MBA from the Miami University in Oxford, OH in 1976. Norman retired from Ohio Auditor of State after 25 years, worked for the General Accounting Office in Cincinnati, OH for 17 years, member of the Oxford Masonic Lodge #67 where he served three years as the Master of the Lodge, Eagle Scout, member of the First Presbyterian Church of Grove City, was a black belt in Tae Kwon Do.

Friends may call at First Presbyterian Church of Grove City, 4227 Broadway, Grove City, OH on Wednesday, July 6, 2022 from 11:00am until time of service at 1:00pm. Burial will be held at Butler County Memorial Park, Hamilton, OH on Thursday, July 7, 2022 at 2:00pm. Memorial contributions may be directed to the church, Autism Speaks, or to the Oxford Masonic Lodge.
