Okey William Capehart

Okey William Capehart, 80, passed away February 14, 2025, at his home. He was preceded in death by mother, Clara Marie Capehart; and brother, Joseph Allen Capehart.

Okey is survived by wife of 54 years, Linda Lee Capehart; sons, George "Joe" Harry (Mary) and Joseph Edward (Melissa) Capehart; daughters, Linda (Duane) Hill and Mechelle Marie (Chad) Bradley; 11 grandchildren, Addison Hill, Austin (Sarah) Hill, Cole (Lindsey Brown) Capehart, Drew (Jorian) Capehart, Luke Capehart, Edward, Amanda, and Joseph Capehart, Hallie Bradley, Sydney (Jordan) Barnett, and Alexis Bradley, ; 4 great-grandchildren, Myla, Madalena, John, and Eleanor; sister, Betty Lou Moore; and furry companion, Princess. 

Okey worked at Buck's Auto Supply and then retired from NAPA after 36 years of service. He loved fishing and looked forward to every Sunday he could go out on the boat. Okey and Linda enjoyed spending time on the front porch talking with neighbors, woodworking, and trips to West Virginia where he grew up. 

Okey was a hero to his children and a dedicated husband, father, and grandfather. 

Visitation Tuesday, February 18, 2025 from 5-8pm at Newcomer, SW Chapel, 3393 Broadway, Grove City, OH 43123. 

Additional visitation Wednesday, February 19, 2025 from 12pm to 1pm at Foglesong Funeral Home, 2275 S 2nd St, Mason, WV 25260. Funeral will begin immediately at 1pm. Interment to follow at Letart Evergreen Cemetery in Letart, WV.
