Ollie E. Rowe, of Columbus, passed away on Tuesday, September 29, 2009. Ollie was born to Bertie and Nellie (Hawkins) Damron in Draffin, KY. on January 26, 1928. She was preceded in death by her parents; daughter, Brenda Urbano; grandson, Tommy Rowe; sister, Dorothy. Ollie is survived by her sons, Paul R, Gary D and Glen D (Deborah) Rowe; sisters, Elsie Rowe and Coria Jean Freed; brothers, John, Charles (Mary) and Earl (Linda Lou) Damron; 8 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren; nieces, nephews, cousins and many friends. Ollie had a life long love for antiques and especially linens and was commonly known thru out the area as "The Linen Lady". Visitation will be held on Friday, October 2, 2009, 5-8 PM at Newcomer Funeral Home, NE Chapel, 3047 East Dublin Granville Road, Columbus, OH with the Graveside Service on Saturday, October 3, 2009, 10:00 AM at St. Joseph Cemetery, Lockbourne, OH. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Alzheimer's Association, Central Ohio Chapter, 3380 Tremont Road, Columbus, OH 43221.
