Ollie Mae Seabrook, age 88, passed away peacefully at Traditions Nursing Home, Gahanna, Ohio on Tuesday, December 15, 2009.
Born April 26, 1921, in Paul, Alabama, she lived in Brunswick, Alabama, Columbus, Ohio and Tampa, Florida. She worked at Ohio State University for many years. Survivors include her daughter, Helen Cox, son-in-law Charles Darius Cox; grand-daughters, Coleen and Carol Cox; and a host of other grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and other relatives. Ollie was also preceded in death by her husband, Roy Seabrook, Sr.; son, Roy Seabrook, Jr.; four brothers: Sam Amos, Otis Amos, Ruben Amos, and Walter L. Amos, Sr.; and one sister: Sally Amos.
Funeral Service Monday, December 21, 2009 at 11AM with visitation one hour prior at Newcomer Funeral Home, 3047 E. Dublin-Granville Rd., Columbus, OH. Interment to follow at Evergreen Cemetery.
