Ollie Francis Salyer age 91 of Galloway, Ohio passed away peacefully at home on September 8,2022. He was born on November 8,1930 in Paintsville Kentucky to Virgil and Sarah Salyer.
Member of Hickory Grove United Baptist church and the West Gate Lodge F and Am. He loved his church, spending time with his family, bowling, Camping and was an avid gardener.
Survived by his wife of 73 years Verna (Pennington) Salyer. Children: Sue (Mike) Pfadt, Steve Salyer (LaJuana Gilliam), Lora (Doug) Johnson, 10 Grandchildren, 13 great Grandchildren 4 great, great Grandchildren 2 Brothers and 2 Sisters.
Proceeded in death by his parents Virgil and Sarah Salyer, Sister: Dorothy Helton, Sons: Ollie Eugene (Gene) Salyer and twin boys.
Friends may call at the NEWCOMER SOUTHWEST CHAPEL 3393 Broadway, Grove City, Ohio 43123 on Wednesday, September 14, 2022 from 5:00pm to 8:00pm, where funeral services will then be held on Thursday, September 15, 2022 at 12:00pm. Interment to follow at Sunset Cemetery.
