Omega L. Wolford, 57, Blacklick, passed away Wednesday, August 1, 2007, following a courageous battle with cancer. Born to Dockie and Alma (Pippin) McCoy on August 8, 1949, Omega is preceded in death by her father, Dockie McCoy and step-father, Woodrow Hall. Survivors include her mother, Alma McCoy Hall; daughter, Vella (Anthony) Reeves; son, William Wolford; grandchildren, Madison, Miranda and Landen Reeves; sister, Patricia (Fred) McPeek, brother, David (Susan) McCoy; nephews, David and Kenneth; niece, Davida. Visitation will be Friday, August 3, 2007, from 5-8PM at the Newcomer Funeral Home, 3047 East Dublin Granville Road, Columbus, OH. Funeral service will be held on Saturday, August 4, 2007, 10:00AM at the funeral home. Interment will follow at Union Evangelical Cemetery, Baltimore, OH.
