Opal Hampton

Opal Hampton, 79, passed away on Saturday, March 23, 2024 in London, Ohio. Opal was born on December 22, 1944 in Strasburg, Ohio to Harry Master and Irene Masters.

Opal spent her time taking care of her family with her specialties like "Grandma's Noodles" and fried tater skins. Her life's biggest enjoyment was spending time with her children and grandbabies.

Opal is preceded in death by husbands Richard Bartlett and Randy Hampton, siblings Glen, Irvin (Bud), Roger, Ray, Evelyn, Anna, Shirley and Maxine and Daughter-in-law, Joyce Bartlett.

She is survived by children Robert Bartlett (Vicki), Tina Fluor (Dave), Richard Alan Bartlett, Theresa Ratliff (Joe), Laura Gibson (Hoot) and Richard Joseph Bartlett (Marie), grandchildren Valerie, Andrea, Jerrid, Zack, Hunter, Joey, Mary, Joe, Daniele, Richard, Jimmy, Michele, Pete, Sammy and Boo and many great grandchildren.

Family will receive friends on Friday, March 29, 2024 from 9:00 am to 10:00 am at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions, Columbus Northeast Chapel, 3047 East Dublin-Granville Road, Columbus, Ohio 43231. A funeral service will be held on Friday, March 29, 2024 at 10:00 am also at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions, Columbus Northeast Chapel. She will be laid to rest at Mifflin Cemetery in Gahanna.
