Pamela (Lester) Hoehner, 62, of Centerburg, was called home the morning of April 07, 2023 at a private residence in Columbus, OH. Pamela Hoehner, daughter of Herman Reedy and Norma Jean Slack was born August 11, 1960 in Columbus, OH. Her father lived in Poquoson City, Virginia and was raised by her mother and grandparents in Westerville, Ohio. She grew up surrounded by her large family.
Pamela attended Westerville South High School and was married to, Jack Mangus Jr. in 1977, with whom she was blessed with her first daughter Angela on January 16, 1977. Pamela and Jack lived in Westerville, OH and expanded their family to daughter Christina, September 17, 1980 and son, Jack W. Mangus III, July 21, 1982. Pamela and Jack were married eight years. They divorced in June of 1985 and she was remarried to Doug Hoehner. Pamela and Doug had two children, son, Stephen, September 23, 1986 and daughter, Lisa, June 24, 1990. She continued her life in Columbus, OH.
Her interests involved spending time with family, playing board games, reading, writing, and gardening. Her favorite NFL team is the Pittsburgh Steelers. Pam loved and wanted to save all the children. She faithfully donated to St. Judd's Hospital. She was passionate about the Lord and devoted much of her time and energy reading her bible and listening to pastor & televangelists, Perry Stone and John Hagee.
Pamela will be deeply missed by her five children, daughter Angela (Joseph) Climer, Christina (Douglas) Blanton, Lisa Hoehner-Bookhamer and two son's Jack (Linda) Mangus III, Stephen (Jordan) Hoehner. Brother; Bobby Lester. 18 grandchildren; Jacob, Caleb, Thomas (Cain), Christopher, Kaylee, Kaycee, Angel, Jack IV, Ava, Charlie, Violet, Grant, Mason, Colt, Lily, Curtis, Kali, and Brandon. Pamela is preceded in death by; Mother, Norma Jean Slack; Father, Herman Reedy. Sister; Freda "Lynn" Lester-Sartin, Brother; Timmy Slack.
Visitation will be held Friday, April 21st, 2023 from 11am to 1pm at Newcomer NE Chapel, 3047 E. Dublin-Granville Rd. Columbus, OH 43231.
Pamela will be laid to rest with her family, alongside her mother, brother, sister, and extended family in Pioneer Cemetery, 865 S. State Street, Westerville, OH 43081.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Newcomer to assist the family.
