Pamela Sue "Crable" Murray was born on June 21, 1945 to Charles and Barbara Crable of Mount Sterling in Columbus, Ohio. She entered into heaven on January 21, 2021 after a courageous battle with cancer. She was predeceased by both parents, grandparents and granddaughter Amber Luckett. She is survived by her husband David Lee Murray, daughters Julie Ann Fausnaugh and Amy Lynn Luckett, brothers Steve (Deborah) Crable of Washington DC and Bob (Rayejene) Crable of Tolar, Texas, sister-in-law Jeanie (Jim) Justice of Galloway, brother-in-laws Dr. James O. Murray of Livingston, Montana, and Phil Murray of Frankford, West Virginia, cousin Julie Lynch of Henryville, Indiana, granddaughter Brandi (John) Eddy of Canal Winchester, grandsons Trace Luckett (Alexis Wagoner) of Toledo, Ohio, Ty Luckett (Taylor Thompson) of Pickerington, Ohio and Carson Fausnaugh of Hilliard, Ohio, great grandchildren Julie Eddy, Kole Mustard, and Owen Eddy of Canal Winchester as well as very special "adopted" sister Norma Pitts, and numerous nieces, nephews, and several "adopted" grandchildren.
She was last employed by Southwestern City Schools as Jo Bostic's secretary with The Head Start program until she retired to become fulltime daycare provider for her grandchildren, a job that was her true calling and passion. She and papaw Dave lovingly attended numerous school functions and sporting events cheering on all participants with great enthusiasm and joy for all involved. Her immense capacity for love and natural caregiving strongly bound her family together and created a feeling of home, belonging, and togetherness to all at a moments notice. She still found time to help care for her father, mother, and step mother in their times of need as well as extended family and friends. She and Dave wrapped their arms around and helped care for Aunt Naomi, Carolyn, Uncle George, and "The Bull" without missing a step. She has certainly left a void but her mentoring of family and many friends will hopefully carry on and provide a bridge to sustain her legacy of service. Her quiet strength and personal presence will forever be a great challenge for us to use as a building block and direct our efforts to follow in her footsteps.
Our hearts are filled with thanks and gratitude for the Ohio Health Hospice Team that provided great care to Pam during this difficult chapter. Sarah, Ben, Charae, and Teresa were a special part of the team that brought her much joy and provided the most compassionate care throughout her journey and transition during her final days.
