Pamela M. Purdy

Pamela Marie Purdy, age 76, of Columbus, Ohio passed away at home on June 28, 2024. She was born on October 10, 1947 to the late Joseph and Helen Nobel in Columbus, Ohio.

Along with her parents, she is preceded in death by her son, James Purdy, her brothers, Michael, Terry (Linda), and David Nobel, and her niece, Julie.

She is lovingly survived by her husband of 59 years, Phillip Purdy, her children, Lee Purdy and Anita Hillyard, her grandchildren, John Hillyard, Miles Hillyard, Chris Aurand, and Travis Hillyard, her four great-grandchildren, her siblings, Sandra, Sheila, Stephanie, Michelle, John and Mary, and numerous nieces and nephews.

Pam was active in charity work and helping others. She had a strong faith and loved going to church. She will be deeply missed by all those who knew and loved her.

Family and friends may call on Friday, July 12, 2024 at Newcomer SW Chapel, 3393 Broadway, Grove City, Ohio 43123 from 11am-1pm for calling hours with a funeral service starting at 1pm with Pastor Mitchell Ellison officiating. A burial will take place at Forest Lawn Memory Gardens.
