Pamela J. Whitehurst

Pamela "Pam" Jean Whitehurst passed away at 66 years old on Sunday, June 23rd in Columbus, Ohio. She had a hard fought battle with a heart attack at Riverside Methodist Hospital late Saturday night. Pam was born October 12th, 1957 and the only child of her loving parents, Donald and Marilyn (Lunsford) Isennagle. Pam had a bachelor's degree of science in education from Otterbein college.

Pam was preceded in death by her Father Donald and her husband, the love of her life, Clayton Earl Whitehurst. The early death of her husband caused her to be a single mother of three children, which she loved with all her heart. Pam is survived by her mother Marilyn and children, son Cory (Alanna Carpenter) Tucker and son Andrew Whitehurst; Grandchildren Daniel Whitehurst and Hayleigh Whitehurst and daughter Stephanie Whitehurst (Tony Borror); Grandchildren Jaxson Borror, Kylie Borror and Michael Kilroy and Uncle David Helsel (Larae Helsel) and Sister Linda Sills (Gary Sills). She was a mother, best friend and teacher to them all, and will be missed by them more each day. Pam saw the best in everyone she met and was loved by anyone lucky enough to have their life intersect with hers. She enjoyed teaching for several years before moving on to finance where she embraced her co-workers and customers at United Midwest Savings Bank like family. Pam appreciated music, reading, writing and games. She was also an Ohio State football fan, and watched every game she could. The thing she enjoyed most was people, she had a respect for humanity and helped anyone that would let her. To anyone reading this, she would wish you happiness and anyone feeling sorrow due to her moving on, she would say, "This too shall pass".
