Pastor Michael Parnell, age 68, of Columbus, Ohio passed away August 30, 2022 after a long battle with cancer.
He was born May 18, 1954 in Cleveland, Ohio to William H. and Mattie (Randolph) Parnell.
He is preceded in death by his father William H. Parnell, sister Melanie Parnell, grandparents Ernest and Martha Randolph, granddaughter Danielle Parnell, great-granddaughters Elizabeth Rutland and My'Royal Bennett.
Pastor Michael Parnell will be deeply missed by his children, Carol Minnifield, Rachel Parnell, Audrey (Lamont) Parnell-Napier, Stephen (Jessica) Parnell, and Michele Dillon; 19 grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; mother Mattie James; brothers William (Mary) Parnell and Harold Parnell; sister Debra (Vincent) Neeley; as well as many nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
Visitation will be Friday, September 9, 2022 from 10am until the time of service at 11am at Newcomer NE Chapel 3047 E. Dublin Granville Rd. Columbus, OH 43231 with Pastor Anthony McKibbins officiating. Burial will follow at Evergreen Cemetery Columbus.
