Patricia Sue Ball

Patricia Sue Ball, age 76, of Columbus, Ohio passed away peacefully on Tuesday, February 7, 2023 surrounded by family at 5:15 p.m. at Riverside Methodist Hospital. Born in Huntington, WV on February 19, 1946, she was the daughter to the late George Sumner Brown Sr. & Virginia (Davis) Brown.

Patricia was a graduate of Pea Ridge Elementary School and Barboursville High School in 1964 where she played the clarinet in the Marching Band. She had the privilege of marching at the World's Fair and Macy's Day Parade. She worked for Singer and then Cass Bank for 30+ years. In her free time she liked to craft, sew, camp, assist with scouting and visit with her grandchildren. She will be truly missed. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her son Brian T. Ball; brother, George Sumner Brown Jr.; mother-in-law and father- in-law, Herbert E. and Mary (Johnson) Ball and in-laws, Theresa Ball and David "B-bal" Ball.

Survived by her husband of 53 years, Thomas "Tom" Ball whom she married on January 17, 1970; daughter, Christina Mangini, Strongsville: grandchildren, Joey Mangini (Brittany Morris), Mitchell Mangini (Elizibith Barker), Patty Lubago; brother, Steven (Ann) Brown; in-laws, Julia Brown, James (Sharon) Ball, Michael Ball; many nieces and nephews; cherished friends, Roberta Kingsbury, Mary Lou Pauley and Sally Lambert.

Visitation will be held from 2:00 p.m. - 3:00 p.m. on February 19, 2023 at Newcomer Funeral Home, 3047 E. Dublin-Granville Road. Memorial service will begin at 3:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Burial to follow at the convenience of the family.
