Patricia Diane Miller

Patricia “Patty” D. Miller (March 21, 1941-July 28, 2024) was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister and servant of Jehovah. Born on a farm in Decatur County, IN to Claude and Edith Owens, she moved to McDermott, OH where she met the love of her life, Don. They raised their family in Columbus, OH where they ultimately celebrated 66 years of marriage.

Patty was preceded in death by her Mother and Daddy, and sister Katherine “Kitty” and survived by her husband Don, brother Bob (Becky) Owens, sisters; Karen Avramidis and Sandy (Jim) Steward, her four children; Jeff (Carole), Dawn (Steve) New, Tammy (Jobie) McCoy, Tisha (Don) Billingham, and grandchildren; Jennifer (Andrew), Elizabeth (Tim), Erin, Ashley, Brianna (Dan), Taylor (Seth), Jobie IV (Nikki), Alyssa, Emily, Keely, Paige, Kenna, and Keegan as well as numerous great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

Her loving family was her proudest accomplishment. Her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren visited frequently and she always got true joy seeing them grow.

As one of Jehovah’s Witnesses, Patty dedicated her life to her ministry and faith. She was also a successful “Tupperware Lady” who loved to travel, never turned down good crab legs, and had a laugh that was contagious.

The family will hold a private celebration of her life at a later time.
