Patricia "Trish" J. Eckles, 48, departed this earth on March 22, 2008 at Mt. Carmel West Hospital after fighting a short, but fierce, battle with cancer. Trish was born in Columbus, Ohio on November, 29, 1959 to James and Eldora Greenlee. Trish grew up in Lancaster, Ohio. Trish was married to Ron Eckles in 2001 and they made thier home in Grove City. In addition to her husband, Ron, Trish leaves a son, Joshua Clark and his fiance, Mesina Caton; her mother Eldora Greenlee, all of Lancaster; brother, James (Sue) Greenlee of Columbus; sister, Melynda (Don) Whiting, of Plain City; nephews, Cody Greenlee, Devon and Nathan Whiting; niece, Amanda Greenlee; aunts, Marilyn Boltenhouse, Sue (Leslie) Brown, Marilyn (Oliver) Copley, and Carol (Mike) Wilson. She also leaves a host of friends and neighbors of the area including the students and staff of South Western City School District where she had been a substitute teacher for the past several years. She was preceded in death by her father, James Greenlee and uncle, Wesley Amos. Visitation will be held Tuesday, March 25, 2008 from 5:00PM-8:00PM at Newcomer Funeral Home, Southwest Chapel, 3393 Broadway, Grove City, Ohio. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, March 26, 2008 at 10:00 AM at the funeral home. Visitation will be held one hour prior to service.
