Patricia (known to some as Pattycake or Pattymelt or to many as Patty and her least favorite, Pat) Groves (Wood, Mertz, Paszke, Burnett), 88, was welcomed by our Lord and her loved ones in heaven on Friday, August 12, 2022 in Columbus, Ohio.
She was born on January 16, 1934 in Columbus, Ohio to Minnie Mertz.
Patricia is survived by her children, Tammy May, Scott (Debbie) Paszke; grandchildren, Daniel May, Rheannon May, Jamon (Megan) Paszke, Meggan (Brad) Hennen; great-grandchildren, Makayla (Mark) Hill, LeeAnthony Johnson, James Hennen, Drezden May, Mila Paszke, and Tate Paszke.
Please join her family and friends in saying goodbye and celebrating her life on Sunday, August 21, 2022 from 12:00 pm to 2:00 pm at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions, Columbus Northeast Chapel, 3047 East Dublin-Granville Road, Columbus, Ohio 43231 with a memorial immediately following at 2:00 pm.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the family in Patricia's honor.
