Patricia Lynne Davis passed from this life on March 15, 2013. Born October 30, 1956.
Preceded in death by father, Gerald B. Davis.
Survived by mother, Shirley M. Davis; partner of 19 years, Sarah J, Climer; brothers, Kenneth A. Davis (Laurean) and Richard W. Davis; sisters, Nancy L. Hestand (Bud) and Julie A. Brown (Steve); many nieces and nephews.
Among her many achievements in life, at age 18, Pat became the first female firefighter in Franklin County. She then spent time in the Merchant Marine and the U.S. Army before returning to school and graduating with honors from The Ohio State University with a degree in Veterinary Science. Pat retired from her veterinary practice in Harrison, OH, but remained steadfast in her love of all living creatures.
Pat requested that in lieu of flowers, contributions be made to Defenders of Wildlife.
A graveside service will be held at 11:00 AM Wednesday, March 20, 2013, at Foxfield Preserve, 9877 Alabama Ave. SW, Wilmot, OH 44689.
