Patrick Michael O'Shaughnessey Lerum

Patrick Michael Oshaughnessey Lerum, age 51, resided in Grove City, Ohio. He went to be with the Lord after standing in faith for God's perfect will during his fight. with Parkinson's disease for many years. He passed peacefully into eternity on November 10, 2022.

Patrick was born on August 2, 1971. On June 6, 1998, Patrick and Lori Lerum were joined together by God. Their marriage was a journey of Love with Christ as the center, exuding extreme compassion and commitment to one another.

Patrick was an extremely talented singer. If you asked him he would tell you that his singing was a gift from God. He used his gift to sing in his church choir and was also involved in "Send Us The Promise" and "The Cost" at The Grove City Church of the Nazarene for many years. He also wrote a song with the Lord called "Your Perfect Way."

Patrick Lerum truly was The Whole Package. He would light up a room with his smile and would show Grace and Mercy to those in his path. His Joy was so contagious that if you look around you today you will certainly see it living through someone else. You'll see it in the stories and the memories of the lives he touched and the songs he wrote.

Patrick feared the Lord and loved his friends and family with his whole heart. He is survived by his wife, Lori Lerum (Barton), daughters, Cheyenne Douglas and Hannah Lerum, parents, Patrick Lerum (Tammy) and Dorothy Lerum, siblings, Patrina Lee (Chris), niece and nephew, Christian Lee (Megan), Cierra Lee, great niece and nephew, Lucy Lee and Brody Lee, and granddaughter, Bella Douglas.

Friends may call at the NEWCOMER SOUTHWEST CHAPEL 3393 Broadway, Grove City, Ohio 43123 on Thursday, November 17, 2022 from 5:00pm to 8:00pm where a celebration of life will then be held on Friday, November 18, 2022 at 10:00am. Interment to follow at Jefferson Township Cemetery in Blacklick, Ohio.
