Patrick O. Taynor, 74, of Baltimore, passed away peacefully Wednesday February 13, 2013 at Altercare in Canal Winchester surrounded by his loving family. Born February 9, 1939 to the late Orville "Tots" and Dorothy Taynor.
In addition to his parents he was also preceded in death by his sister, Connie Warren and brother, Michael Taynor.
He is survived by his loving wife of 50 years, Deanna; son, Shawn (Kris); grandchildren, Kylie and Kyra Taynor, Christopher and Kayla Wilson; sister, Nancy (Fred) Rawlings; brothers, Tim and Dan; sister-in-law, Sharon Taynor; many nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews, other relatives and good friends.
Pat graduated from St. Charles Catholic High School, Franklin University and Hospital of University of Philadelphia School of Respiratory Care. He retired from Doctors Hospital after 40 years as the Director of Respiratory Care Department and worked several years at Mt. Carmel East.
Pat also retired from the Army Ohio National Guard as Command Sergeant Major in the 112th Medical Group after 22 years of service. He was a charter member of The Loyal Order of the Moose Lodge 1245, member of the Shamrock Club of Ohio and Ohio Valley Retriever Club.
Pat enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren, hunting, fishing, bird watching and dog training until his recent declining health. He will be missed very much by his four black labs (children in fur coats), Anne, Bear, Casey and Oscar.
Pat is a member of Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Catholic Church, Buckeye Lake, Ohio.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10 AM Monday in the Chapel at St. Joseph's Catholic Cemetery, 6440 S. High Street, Lockbourne, OH 43137.
