Patty Jean Brown

Patty Jean (Garrett) Brown, 91, passed away peacefully in Hilliard, Ohio, September 21 following a brief illness. 

 She was born June 18, 1933 in Logan County, WV, to the late Carl and Ruby (Baisden) Garrett. She was preceded in death by her loving husband of 67 years, Paul Ray Brown. Also preceding her were brother Denver Lee Garrett and sister Rosemary (Garrett) Chapman. 

 She is survived by son Michael (Terry) Brown; daughters Paula (Mark) Mills and Debra (Brown) Chaney; grandchildren Eric Reutter, Haleigh and Tyler Chaney; great-grandchildren Finley Reutter, Colby and Zander Chaney. 

 Patty and her husband Paul lived in Litchfield, Ohio for more than 30 years while he worked at the General Motors Brookpark plant in Parma, Ohio. They retired to Cambridge, Ohio, and frequently traveled in their motorhome. They eventually settled in Homosassa, FL, while spending summers in Pigeon Forge, TN. Devoted to their church, they attended services wherever they went. 

 Patty was a loving mother and grandmother, who will be sorely missed by her family. Arrangements for a private family graveside remembrance in Cambridge have yet to be made.
