Patty Carter, 60, of Mt. Sterling, OH, passed away on July 18, 2023. She was born on July 14, 1963 in Verdun, France.
Patty retired from BWC State of Ohio after 30 years of service. She was also the Banquet Hall manager for the American Legion # 532.
She was preceded in death by her father, Donald J. Yoho and father-in-law, William A. Carter.
Surviving family includes husband, Phil, mother, Danielle Yoho, sisters, Marilyn (Alan) Hageman, Carroll Hinton, brother, Darrell Jay (Christina) Yoho, nephews, Billy (Jamie) Arledge and their children, Dustin (Danielle) Hageman and their children, Michael Hageman and his children, Andrew Hinton, Derek Yoho and his daughter, Shane (Lauren) Yoho and their daughter, Caleb Yoho, Tabitha Yoho, mother-in-law, Marie Carter, brother-in-law, Michael Carter, sister-in-law, Sarah Carter and fur babies, Petey, River, Ruby, Hayley, Pickle, Junior and Mia.
Visitation will be held from 2-4pm, Sunday, July 23, 2023 at Newcomer Funeral Home, SW Chapel 3393 Broadway, Grove City, OH 43123.
A funeral service will begin at 11am, Monday, July 24, 2023 at the funeral home.
Burial to follow at St. Joseph Cemetery, Lockbourne, OH.
Patty's last rescue was a blind kitten named Lovey.
