Patty S. Walters, 74, Gahanna, OH went home to be with Jesus early Thursday morning, August 22, 2013. Patty was born July 14, 1939, in Pikeville, KY.
She is preceded in death by beloved sons, Terry and Tony Hopkins; grandchild, Max Walters; parents, Hillard and Creda (Ramey) Gray; sister, Earnestine Gray;
Survivors include, Bill Walters; children, Tim (Ruth) Hopkins, Talena (Billy) Burns and Jamie (Chad) Faulkner; Joy and Jill Walters; 11 grandchildren; sisters, Juanita (Darrell) Matthews and Betty Layne; brother, Paul (Linda) Gray.
Patty was a loving, caring Christian woman who cared deeply for her family. She was the best mother and grandmother anyone could ask for. She will be missed here on earth, every single day.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, August 27, 2013, 5-8 PM at Newcomer Funeral Home, NE Chapel, 3047 East Dublin-Granville Road, Columbus, OH with the Funeral Service on Wednesday, August 28, 2013, 11:00 AM. Interment will follow at Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens.
