Paul Frederick "Freddie" Braden, 73, passed away on Saturday, October 16, 2010, at his residence in Thornville, OH. Freddie was born on February 25, 1937, in Pike County, Kentucky. Paul never met a stranger and will be dearly missed. He was born to Clay Braden and Maxie Alley Wright and is preceded in death by his parents. Paul served in the United States Army and the United States Army Reserves from 1956-1962, as a light weapons infantryman. He worked in transportation and was a member of Teamsters Local #413 for 40 years. Paul is survived by his loving wife, Pauline Braden; 5 children, Debbie (Rick) Edgell, Ron (Jeannie) Braden, Duane (Cindy) Braden, Cheryl (Dan) Tillman, June (John) Rhinebolt; special granddaughter, Angela Brooke Barnes; 11 grandchildren; 8 great-grandchildren; nieces, nephews, special brother and sister-in-law, Larry and Almeda McCarty; numerous other family members and friends. The family would also like to thank the entire staff of Heartland-Fairfield Nursing and Rehabilitation Center and Heartland Hospice for all of their hard work, dedication and support. Visitation will be held on Friday, October 22, 2010, 5-8 PM at Newcomer Funeral Home, NE Chapel, 3047 East Dublin Granville Road, Columbus, OH 43231 with the Funeral Service Saturday, October 23, 2010, 10:00 AM at the funeral home. Interment to follow at Green Lawn Cemetery, Columbus, OH.
