Paul David Fairchild. age 73 of Delaware, Ohio passed away on December 26, 2022. Paul was born on January 2, 1949 in Columbus, Ohio, at Whitecross Riverside Hospital to Richard Lyman Fairchild and Shirley Ann (Edgington) Fairchild.
His hobbies included watching the OSU Buckeyes, Cleveland Browns, and Nascar. He enjoyed working with the Special Olympics and encouraged others to donate and support kids.
He worked at Borden's Ice Cream for 30 years. He also worked at Kinnett Dairy in Columbus, Georigia and Frostbite in Toledo, Ohio.
Paul was a proud graduate of the Mifflin High School Class of 1967. He loved singing, acting in plays, and being a clown all around. He played high school football, sang in the choir, and was in school plays. He did two years at Wilmington College. He graduated from The Ohio State University and also got a degree in ice cream at Penn State University.
He is survived by his brothers, Rick (Melody), Bobby, and John, and his daughter, Kara Beth Thompson and grandson's Griffin and Lleyton Thompson. Paul was preceded in death by his mother, Shirley Ann (Edgington) Fairchild, his father, Richard Lyman Fairchild, and his daughter, Nicole Elaine Fairchild.
Bobby will greatly miss his brother Paul, his best friend and partner in crime. Both shared a close bond over their lifetime together. He will be deeply missed by his brothers, Rick, Bobby, and John.
The family will hold a memorial at a later date. In lieu of flowers, please donation to the Columbus Children's Hospital.
