Paul Griesemer

Paul David Griesemer of Galloway, Ohio passed away peacefully on January 6th, 2025 surrounded by his beloved family. Paul was born in Columbus, Ohio on July 17th 1953 to the late Lawrence Brooke Griesemer and Amma Jean Reid. Paul was the second of four children. He graduated from Central Catholic High School in 1971. For many years, Paul lived and worked in Toledo, Ohio where he was a long-time donor to the American Red Cross–an organization whose mission he adamantly believed in. Over the years, Paul was recognized many times by the charity for his regular donations of blood and platelets and for his continued contributions to their life-giving mission. Paul was devoted to his family and will be remembered to have been a kind, funny, giving person. 

He is survived by his partner Janet Dingledine, daughters Brooke Susan Griesemer, Meghan Elaine Griesemer and stepdaughters Lisa (Dingledine) Robinson and Lindsey Dingledine. Additionally, he is survived by his grandchildren, Finnegan Thomas O’Keefe (pictured), Riley Quinn Cordle, Kimberly Nicole Cordle, and Kaius Jakkar White. He is also survived by siblings Sue Hazelton and Lawrence (Sue) Griesemer Jr., and many nieces and nephews whom Paul loved. Preceding Paul in death are his parents and loving sister Catherine Ann (Griesemer) Richards. 

Visitation Friday, January 24, 2025 from 2pm until the time of Funeral Service at 4pm at Newcomer, SW Chapel, 3393 Broadway, Grove City, OH.
