In 2013, the family moved to back to Ohio, to be near their lifelong friends, and began attending New Song Community Church.

Since then, he used his own business to facilitate positive change by hiring former criminals and addicts and helping them reform their lives. Paul and his wife also hosted several AU PAIR and foreign exchange students in their home, providing meaningful work, life training and connection.

Paul was a passionate outdoorsman. He loved cycling and taking "century" 100-mile bike rides. He enjoyed hunting and marksmanship, hiking, exploring with his family, running and fitness, and visiting friends all over the country.

He relished eating the Albanian-Greek food he grew up with, his favorites were Burek and Baklava. He was known to family and friends as gregarious, friendly, kind, and living a life dedicated to God.
