Paul Edward Nicholson, 71, passed away peacefully at his home on March 13, 2023. He left for heaven surrounded by his loving family.

Paul was born on September 15, 1951 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma to the late Floyd Raymond and Ola Mae Nicholson. He is survived by his wife Bethany, daughters Shelly (Cyle), Jen (Todd), son Collin, grandchildren Cole, Mack, Laurel, Fiore, Estelle and Roman.

Paul studied at Mid-America Nazarene University, where he joined a Quartette and traveled to places like Guatemala to minister through music. He also studied at The University of Oklahoma, after which he spent his career helping others through teaching, counseling, drug & alcohol rehabilitation and more.

Some of Paul's favorite pastimes included testing new cheesecake recipes in the kitchen; hunting for the best bargain at thrift stores and garage sales; building elaborate sandcastles; and adding to his collection of Hard Rock Café and destination t-shirts during his trips to new places.

He was the most kind and gentle man who cherished his family and friends and loved helping others. He had a zest for life that continued to his last day. He will be greatly missed and always deeply loved.

Memorial service will be held in the chapel at Westerville Vineyard Columbus, 6000 Cooper Road, Westerville, Ohio on Saturday, March 18, 2023 at 1:00pm with a visitation starting at 12:00pm.
