Paulette Virginia Rector (Simon, Slagle, Loftin), age 71, of Delaware, passed away in her home February 11, 2022. Paulette was born March 12, 1950 to Joseph and Mary Simon.
Paulette loved to crochet, sew, and make all sorts of crafts. She loved to make costumes for her eight grandchildren and "her babysitting kids." Paulette spent most of her adult life caring for children in her home. Paulette loved a good sale, she was an avid garage sale and flea market goer and loved shopping thrift stores with her sister Madeline.
Paulette will be deeply missed by her loving and devoted husband of 26 years, James (Jim) Rector; daughter Richel Maier (Scott Weyand), son Cory (Sarah) Loftin, son Asa (Mary) Loftin; grandchildren Christian (Kristina) Maier, Grace Maier, Marley Loftin, Sofie Loftin, Mira Loftin, Lily Loftin, Cory (Coco) Loftin, and Jessie Loftin; siblings Mary Jo (Paul) Buckley, Madeline (Eddie) Oakley, George (Bernadette) Simon, Suzanne Rogers; many nieces and nephews.
Paulette is preceded in death by her parents, beloved brother Joseph Simon Jr., and brother-in-law Eddie Oakley.
The family will receive friends on Friday, February 18, 2022, from 3-5p.m., at Newcomer NW Chapel, 10051 Brewster Lane, Powell OH, 43065, where a service will begin at 5 p.m.
