Pauline B. Koval, 92, of Columbus and formerly of Akron, passed away Monday, December 26, 2011. Pauline was born in Donora, PA on June 10, 1919, to Anton and Catherine Bucich and is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Michael "Mike" Koval; daughter, Catherine Divola; one sister and one brother. Survivors include her daughter, Michelle (Rick) Whalley; five sisters; three brothers; nieces, nephews, cousins and many friends. Pauline worked for O'Neil's Department Store for many years in Akron and was a member of Christ The King Catholic Church. Visitation will be held on Friday, January 6, 2012, 9-10 AM at Newcomer Funeral Home, NE Chapel, 3047 East Dublin Granville Road, Columbus, OH with the Funeral Service at 10:00 AM. A 2:30 PM interment will follow at Holy Cross Catholic Cemetery, Akron, OH. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Alzheimer's Association, 3380 Tremont Road, Columbus, OH 43221.
