Pauline Safford

Pauline Safford age 81 of Baltimore, MD passed away Monday, May 20, 2002 at her
residence in Columbus. Pauline graduated from Ohio State University with a degree in
Education and taught sixth grade at Saybrook School from 1957-1966, she then moved to
Baltimore, Maryland where she sold Real Estate and retired from the Unemployment
Office for the State Of Maryland. She was an ardent Reader and Bridge Player. Preceded
in death by parents Joseph & Zennie (Drake) Bias, sister Billie Frasher Hook. She was
born May 7, 1921 in Manila, West Virginia Survived by Husband Stanley Safford whom
she married on July 28, 1957 in Ashtabula, daughters Suzanne (Sam) Beatty of Geneva,
Linda L. Winters (David) of West Jefferson, Ellen Safford of Boulder, CO; son John of
Boise, ID; grandchildren Pam & Chris Beatty, Becca Winters & Katelin Safford; great-
grandchildren Kenzie & Kirstin Winters; sisters Ruth Logan of New Jersey, Jo Ann
Arnold & Janet Shaw of Columbus, Cindy Bias of Mansfield; brothers Carl Bias of
Portsmouth; David Bias of Delaware; and several nieces and nephews. Graveside service
Wednesday 1 PM at Kingwood Cemetery. The family would like to give a Special Thanks
to Pat Kuhner and Patricia Pyfrom of The Hospice at Grant-Riverside. Service completed
