Pearlie was born, raised and married in Cedartown, GA. She attended Cedar Hill High School and later moved to Columbus, Ohio to raise her family. She was all about family.
Pearl, as most called her, was an excellent cook, her southern roots were evident to all who enjoyed a meal she prepared.
Her favorite pastimes included quilting, watching her beloved Braves and spending countless hours gardening. She was determined to repot plants in her final days. In her younger years, dancing and bowling were part of her weekly activities.
A devoted member of her church, Tabernacle Baptist Church, she was also active in other church serving ministries as well. She faithfully attended a Saturday morning prayer breakfast; for more than two decades, Pearl was in charge of Christmas dinner preparation for Bethlehem on Broad event at First Congregational Church.
Her generous spirit will be missed. But, she is rejoicing in Heaven and we celebrate a life well lived.
Thank you to all who loved and cared for her.
