Peggy Ann Alwood-Gargani, 52, of Columbus, passed away from natural causes Friday, September 7, 2012 at her residence.
She considered Reynoldsburg her first home where she attended high school and met her husband, Joe Gargani.
Peggy will be remembered for her intellect, sarcastic sense of humor and loving heart.
She was preceded in death by her father, Robert Alwood and brother, Bob Alwood Jr.
Peggy spent her life caring for her children, Sarah (Shawn McBride) Bazemore, Rachel (Aaron) Domini, Michael Bozman, Jesse (Becky Richmond) Bozman, Aaron Alwood & Nikki Gargani. In addition to her husband and children, she is survived by her parents, Fern & Don McIntyre; siblings, Mike (Veronica Miller) Alwood, Judith (Rocky) McGuire and Jody Anderson; grandchildren, Kaytlyn, Kassady, Kyla, Karah, & Kennedy McBride; Maggie Fredricks, Judah Domini, Jacob & Isabella Bozman; nieces and nephews, Heather (Lance) Alwood-King, Meagan (Milan) Alwood-Karcic, Amy (Jovan Karcic) Alwood, Candace (T.J.) Starkey, Ryan (Charity) McGuire, Lacey McGuire and Kaely McGuire; grand nieces and nephews, Jack & Henry King, Jessalyn & Jason Starkey, Noelani Rhodes.
Memorial service will be held on Thursday, September 13, 2012 at Spring Hollow Lodge, 1069 W. Main St. Sharon Woods Metro Park, Westerville. The family will be receiving guests from 4-7 p.m. with a ceremony beginning at 5:30.
