Peggy Lou Hanes, 83, of Pickerington, passed away Tuesday, August 6, 2013 at her residence.
She was born April 26, 1930 in Lima, daughter of the late Roy and Helen Keller Becker.
In addition to her parents, Peggy was preceded in death by her granddaughter, Beverly Munn.
She retired from Bank One with 17 years of service.
Peggy is survived by her loving husband of 65 years, Adrian Hanes; sons, Steve (Ann), Tom (Amy) and Robert Hanes; sisters, Ruth Strong and Dorothy Kohorst; brother-in-law, Paul (Nancy) Ruble; grandchildren, Tammy (Rob) Robinson, Lauren (Jeff) Terrell, Tina, Chris (Cindy), Eric, Jeff, Zoe and Mia Hanes; seventeen great grandchildren and three great great grandchildren.
Visitation will be Saturday, August 17, 2013 from 1:00-2:00 PM at Church of the Redeemer United Methodist Church, 235 McNaughten Rd. Columbus, with the memorial service beginning at 2:00 PM.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Mt. Carmel Hospice, c/o Mt. Carmel Foundation, 6150 E. Broad St. Columbus, OH 43213.
Arrangements have been entrusted to Newcomer Funeral Home NE Chapel, 3047 E. Dublin-Granville Rd. Columbus.
