Pete L. Roach, 47, of Columbus, passed away August 12, 2006 after a tough battle with throat cancer. Pete was born February 17, 1959, in Columbus, son of the late James and Callie Sites Roach. Pete is survived by a daughter, Sara Roach; fiance, Brenda Amos; brothers, Walter (A-Mei), James (Rebecca) and Tommy (Jeneen); sisters, Shelia (Ralph) Osborne and Virginia Malley; ex-wife and dear friend, Theresa Roach. He was loved by many other family and friends. Pete was retired from the U.S. Army in 1980. His passions were animals, country music and the Cleveland Browns. Calling hours will be held at Newcomer Funeral Home, Northeast Chapel, 3047 East Dublin-Granville Road, Columbus, on Thursday, August 17, 2006 from 2:00-4:00 and 6:00-8:00 PM. Graveside services will be held at Dayton National Cemetery on Friday, August 18, 2006 at 11:00 AM. Messages of condolence may be left at www.newcomerfamily.com
