Phil C. Smith, age 81, passed away peacefully Saturday, January 26, 2013. He was born August 7, 1931.
Phil was preceded in death by his parents, Ernest and Alice Smith.
He is survived by his wife, Wanda; daughters, Brenda Smith and Deb Kessler; son, Phil E. Smith; sister, Ruth Beckwith; 7 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren.
Phil was employed at Kroger Bakery for 35 years and served in the U.S. Marines.
Visitation will be held from 5:00 to 8:00 PM Tuesday, January 29, 2013 at Newcomer Funeral Home SW Chapel, 3393 Broadway, Grove City, OH 43123. Funeral service will be held at 1:00 PM Wednesday, January 30, 2013 at the funeral home. Burial at Sunset Cemetery.
Memorial donations may be made to Alzheimer's Association, 1379 Dublin Rd., Columbus, OH 43215.
