Philip Scott Hall Sr., 70, of Johnstown, passed away Saturday, March 15, 2008 in Fort Worth, TX. He was born January 19, 1938, in Louisa, KY, son of the late Ira and Ethel Mae Sparks Hall. In addition to his parents, Philip is preceded in death by his son, David Hall. He was a member of the Delaware & Sunbury Eagles and Sons of Amvets. Philip is survived by his wife, Cheryle Schuman Hall; sons, Stephen (Tracy) Hall and Philip Scott Hall Jr.; daughters, Karen (Barry) Diamond, Karla Hall, Beth (Rob) Deitchel; step daughters, Susanne (Brian) Schwier and Carrie (James) Preece; brother, Harold (Joann) Hall; sister, Eloise Cox; nine grandchildren, two great grandchildren and three step grandchildren; special friends, Mary Anne Shults, Lynn Mitchell, Jarry Case, Mike Mills, Leroy and Karen Moore. Visitation will be Friday, March 21, 2008 from 2:00-6:00 PM at Newcomer Funeral Home N.E. Chapel, 3047 E. Dublin-Granville Road, Columbus, with the funeral service following visitation. Interment will be in Preece Cemetery, Louisa, KY.
