Phyllis Grace Denman

In the early morning of Tuesday, January 7, 2025, Phyllis Grace Denman (Bossetti) passed from this life into the next at the age of 89 years old.

Phyllis was born February 12, 1935, the second child and first daughter of Grace (Nesser) and Primo Bossetti. She graduated from Westerville High School in 1953 and Franklin University in 1984 with a degree in Business Management. She enjoyed employment at Graybar Electric, Western Electric, Buckeye Business Forms, and Fruehauf Corporation where she performed various production and administrative duties, and the Westerville Police Department where she was an evidence technician.

Phyllis was the chapter president of FHA, Future Homemakers of America, at Westerville High School and attended St. Paul's Catholic Church in Westerville for over four decades. She enjoyed involvement in various women's clubs and traveling groups; volunteering for local charities and organizations; thrifting a good deal; making and keeping her home; sewing, knitting, crocheting, cooking, and reading; and spending time with family, friends, and loved ones. She was a proud lifelong resident of Westerville.

Phyllis is preceded in death by her father, mother, brothers Pete and Bill, great-grandson Eli John, and good friend Bob DeVilbiss. She is survived by brothers Mike Bossetti (Lynn), Tom Bossetti (Connie), and Tedd Bossetti (Debbie); sister Jenny Headington (Ralph); and sister-in-law Jean Bossetti (Bill).

Phyllis leaves behind three children, Gene Denman (Ginger), Betty Kimball (Tom), and Mark Denman (Cheryl); ten grandchildren, Jared Denman (Jenell), Joe Denman (Katie), Steve Denman (Nicole), James Denman (Arika), Nicholas Denman, Joel Denman (Maria), Katie Kimball, Eric Denman (Jensi), Lisa Kimball, and Tatiana Denman; 17 great-grandchildren, many nieces and nephews, and beloved longtime friends around the country.

A private, graveside ceremony will be held at a later date to be determined by the family. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Phyllis' name to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
